Idk if it’s truly considered troonslop, but I’ve really enjoyed the Henry Stickmin series growing up. It hits many of the boxes of troonslop, simplistic newgrounds designs, references to media and games being prominent, little story depth(it’s always an extreme, little depth or too much), etc.
However, I always found the games to be fun and entertaining growing up, and playing the full Collection on steam was fun too. I remember one commentator pointing out how the series has only white people, no fags (the collection made one guy non-binary, but it’s child and missable), and I also realized it has practically no on-screen romance. The devs have since gone fully into fag loving especially with their studio branding and Among Us, but Henry Stickmin is complete and old enough to have missed this trend.
The community from what I remembered was always very young and very autistic, and they grew caught up in fagginess eventually, but the games themselves were always pretty clean. I’d label the series as troonslop, but it’s troonslop that I fondly remember and enjoy.
