Did any of you ever fall for the dumbphone meme?

Just wondering. I purchased this Nokia 225 4G nearly two years ago and didn't have a good experience with it. The biggest issue was that texts always got scrambled because the time servers were bugged and messages would show up as being sent a few hours in the past. Eventually I put my SIM card back in my old phone and left the Nokia in a drawer before tossing it in the trash about a year ago.
Now I want to go back to it, but I know I'd still have a shit experience. I don't know if I should research better dumb options or just put a custom operating system like Graphene on my Pixel. Curious if you guys have dealt with anything similar.

Modern dumb phones are so shit. Either it’s some niche thing for senior citizens (like the Jitterbug) or the cheapest crap made possible for third world countries like the Nokia. You can’t even use the good older dumb phones because they shut down all the 2G and 3G networks.
That's why I'm such a sperg for BB crap. Only recently did I find out that even BB10 (4G) devices won't work on T-Mobile because "muh muh VoLTE implementation is too old!!!". Fucking bullshit.
The funny thing with Nokia is that they actually do seem to make some decent phones, but none of them are sold in muttland. The 225 4G came out nearly four years ago.

Nope. I use Samsung, as you can tell by the totally real screenshot of the Tsar of Hyperborea calling my phone I posted on /x/.

If you use anything other than a smartphone you are being special, what if you need to browse the internet or get directions to somewhere? Honest to god, these phones are only used in the darkest pits of niggerhell, such as the congo, the worst parts of pakistan/india, other third world shitholes. Even at 50$ new smartphone is way superior to these pieces of shit..

I don't have one of my own yet. I want to save up to buy the best, fanciest, most top-of-the-line laptop there is (which, to the best of my knowledge, is the MSI Titan 18 HX AI).
Why a laptop why not a computer?

also cant you build a computer?

also how good is your opsec and have you read up on opsec stuff and etc also what os will you use

also how are you on the soyjak blog without a computer

A laptop I can take anywhere. A desktop computer I can't.

No, I cannot build a computer.

I will use the OS that comes with the laptop (which will be Windows 11), although Windows XP was always my personal favorite.

I'm using someone else's laptop right now.

windows 11 and windows 10 sends lots of data and etc to Microsoft and Microsoft will give it to the government if they ask or request for it

a better option would be a linux distro

There's one on eBay right now for no less than $14,848.20: https://www.ebay.com/itm/405418935984

...along with one on Amazon for $10,000: https://www.amazon.com/MSI-Entertainment-i7-12800HX-16-Core-Personal/dp/B0B6T2T9LB/

It seems to be the most powerful laptop there is, which explains the high price.

This one comes with 16 terabytes of disk space, but it seems to be unavailable right now: https://www.amazon.com/Mavark-Stealth-i9-13900H-GeForce-Resolution/dp/B0BYTC2PFV

Like I said, I'm looking for the laptop that's simply the best of the best.

I've never used Linux before, but I know that you can't run many games (or much of anything else) on it like you can with Windows.

Depends what games on Linux most are working now thanks to the steam deck and proton and you can run most Windows software thanks to wine

if you are going to use Linux for your laptop i highly recommend one with a amd gpu since nvidia while it works on linux tends to be very buggy i think

That one's a whole generation out of date
Note that when a model is depreciated/going out of stock many sites crank up the price to make sure nobody actually buys them
You're not jsut searching for the most expensive laptop right?
That's not a smart way to goa about things.
