I saw a video about Windows servers. I'm more knowledgeable with linux when it comes to servers but I found it interesting how there's people trained in Windows servers because I don't think anyone uses those, especially when businesses are forced to pay for the licenses

A lot of big companies have deals with microsoft and uses windows server because of that, pretty much anyone who does server hosting as their job knows linux is better but corporate stuff keeps them on Windows. Its a microsoft office situation.

The use cases tend to be different. Linux is more about a single purpose server that runs a web server or whatever, not that you can't run multiple things on the same machine
