I was half-wrong. I looked through the leaks some more, did some basic keyword searches, and I really hate to say it but it seems they're doing similar things to the shemmy that afterparty users are doing to the sharty; using spambots to make the site unusable and forcing them to turn the IP whitelist on, spamming and necrobumping fetish threads, etc. Since the inception of the site there was a particular "obsessed botter" who would spam anything from /qa/ reposts to jarty advertisements incredibly quickly and almost daily and it appears he's turned out to be a member of the janny discord, maybe even the combined effort of multiple members.

Using a janny discord server to boast about raiding the "discord splinter", JFL.

My original claim was still right, it's not nearly as bad as what afterparty does. I just think they're doing it out of worry of competition, which is somewhat cucked, but as a 𝕭usinessman I can relate to such a way of thinking. To me, the most baffling part of all this is that the sharty's massive, robust staff was clueless enough to let a 'cord nigger in through the gates.
