I don't like him. I don't agree with him as much as I do with ol' Theodore, regardless of ideology, regardless if he's taking the lives of a group of people directly or indirectly killing onlookers/spectators, he's still killing people just because they happened to be at the wrong place, at the wrong time, is still killing people, and killing people is le bad. Terrorism is le bad.

One of the victims was Emily Lyons, a clinic nurse who had one of her eyes "destroyed", one of her hands along with her other eye damaged, including flesh around her hands and legs, had external damage done to her abdomen which required numerous internal surgeries to fix, and was left with extremely poor hearing along with eyesight, and had to use a wheelchair for quite some time, thankfully she retains motor function of both her hands and may or may not still be able to walk.

I disagree with abortion (unless truly necessary), if everyone dies for a reason, young or old, everyone is also born for a reason. But a lot of people don't deserve that, I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy whoever that might be.

not a single nation, government or society in history wasn't formed without violence of some sort, and some innocent lives cost in the process.

This is a reasonable viewpoint and political violence is necessary in certain circumstances but I don’t see how blowing up an Olympic sports event will bring Christian ideology back to the mainstream American culture. It has about the same amount of reason as the New Orleans truck attack that just happened 4 days ago.

Kaczynski was one of the rare instances in which attacking people was okay. He had his reasons and he was dead-set on certain targets who deserve it rather than attacking random people.

but srsly to tell you the truth, im not a Eric Rudolph white knight, he may have some views i agree with and i agree with u that political violence is necessary but obviously i dont support people terrorism that gets women or children killed. Maybe sometimes sacrifices have to be made in order to achieve your goals but in this case it didn't really do shit and i imagine ppl dont know who Rudolph even is today, I just recently learned about him and thought it would be interesting to get schloggers thoughts about it, and the hohol seething is just a bonus

I'm not gonna lie, I feel an ounce of sympathy for Ted. I fundamentally disagree with what he did and how he approached his goal, he ironically enough undid all the work he was trying to accomplish through the bombings, however, this guy was extremely lonely for all of his life, starting with obvious signs when he was unable to teach students at a Californian University because of him being socially inept, and that only got worse as he got older, and continued to spiral until he was out living in the forest with no one else, but himself, and if anything he probably just needed more human connection.

But people he could connect with, say, if he had a wife or a close platonic lifelong friend, maybe what he inevitably did wouldn't have happened, maybe what he accomplished would've been remembered more fondly, because he wouldn't have done the unnecessary.
