My grandparents used to have a Shih Tzu. We had to give her to my great-aunt since she was getting extremely sick, her fur was falling off and her skin had these mysterious bumps on it. I saw a couple pictures of her now and she seems to have gotten much better. She's 6 years old now

that’s cool my grandma used to have a yorkie and a chihuahua, the latter would shed so damn much we’d have to bring lint rollers every time we visited kek
anyway they were both laid to rest at the vet a few years back since they were getting old and it was for the better

my aunt had a yorkie and it died some time ago
she still cant get over its death
the yorkie has a tombstone lol

i feel like that’s where i draw the line, these animals can’t live forever, sometimes you have to let go, they are family but they can’t be with you for your entire life like family.

but also the aunt's kids are both over 30 now, living abroad
The dog was like a kid to her in a sense.
