For one banning anyone who makes the site "look bad" is preposterous. People on here constantly talk about TND, TKD, TTD, glorify mass shooters, call for "doxing raping and killing" of random people (and follow through with the first). And besides, with the ability to react to posts it's harder for bad actors to paint the entire community a certain way because the users can basically label the post (add star of david reaction btw)
And as for the joke, I actually found it quite funny, it caught me off guard. You crackers need to realize different people have different predisposition towards humor and what they find offensive.
Fundamentally I'm just opposed to the idea of walking on eggshells when shitposting, with the threat of being perma banned with no warning if you try to push the envelope even slightly

Genocide and child rape are two different things that are edgy for two different reasons. There is a reason why sexual crimes are treated differently when a child is involved. Sites don't slowly corrupt people into committing genocide, but the other happens. If you are questioning why child rape is held on a pedestal of degeneracy, that is a question for society. Child rape is viewed as more heinous than just rape for the same nebulous reason that sets it apart from genocide, yet it is still recognized by every nation on Earth. It would be one thing if you were using this incident to justify the ban of genocide jokes, but you are taking the side of defending child rape jokes. Again, even if the jannies are cosmically in the wrong, this is not up for debate and the janny team has 0 intention of changing this policy.
