From my observations, he's the only one who has the power to stand up against the Israelis at the moment, so I'd rather support him than anyone else involved in the conflict. In my opinion, if his power were toppled, it would severely weaken Syria's fighting forces in all areas to a level that would threaten its population's security to more violence at the hands of Israeli interests (the "Greater Israel" concept may sound absolutely crazy to us, as some utter impossibility, but such expansionism by the Israelis really could be a possibility in this decade and the next, the way I see it, anyway).I'm more surprised you support Assad geg
