I think moderators and jannies are psychopaths not to be trusted. They get a sick sense out of "doing their jobs" like a huge ego boost that makes them feel better than everyone else, and the rules they impose most of the time is just shit. Like on certain platforms if you say something a furry pedo janny doesn't like, you'll get banned, or if you say something "offenswive!!" then you get banned. They do it for free, huge red flag, they spend hours of their time monitoring online spaces looking for rule breakers and probably keep counters of how many people they've banned so they can feel good about themselves. I've even known some jannies who go out of their way to get people into trouble just to ban them, and I've known people who aren't even jannies seem to do that just to cock suck the jannies.

This seems to be the stereotype that I have seen among different platforms who all experience some power hungry jannies that are addicted to banning people for whatever reason.
Here nagolbud put out what seems to be a valid solution to this where somewhat active people can be selected to mod and delete whatever they happen upon that breaks the rules as it more lax and isn't about obsessively scrolling through every post ever.

i wonder if technically, despite all the racism, the sharty is a free speech and expression safe haven because unlike discord servers and subreddits you can believe in whatever you want to believe in and say whatever you want to say and you don't get banned for it. under my belief atleast. its so weird, i havent used discord in so long that saying nigger just feels normal to me where as saying nigger is a cardinal sin on most overly moderated shitholes in the internet. im glad i found the sharty and der schlog, people aren't even toxic most of the time, just genuinely chill and don't care, whereas discord troons and furries will crucify you for saying something le edgy or le toxic on their minecraft server
that's because it's an imageboard and the schlog is associated with the imageboard, so it's different to some 15 year old boy's discord server where half of the channels are gore dumps that are far right. this is because the sharty is a special far-right imageboard where all opinions are usually welcome and when they aren't you just get called a nigger tranny faggot and you don't get banned like for example most far-right 'cord servers.
im mostly talking about discord and reddit in general, i feel like theres a difference between mainstream internet and where we are. i guess i feel weird for not finding the sharty sooner.
If you look at the Sharty on the surface, it should be a site for posting soyjaks, which it is primarily, but a lot of the users would otherwise be associated with chuds which is probably the result of it being a site with very few restrictions on speech. It seems people on most mainstream sites would be immediately exiled if they said anything remotely close to what anyone on the Sharty says so of course it would attract people who would say those things while other people would stay on the aforementioned platforms when they can stay away from the evil raysists or whatever. Saying PHEONIX WRIGHT on the Sharty is at most shunned by the wider community who will just soyquote you as a hanging troonjak.
