i’m still mid finals
it’s over for me
also am now collecting flies, am going to preserve them and make a necklace of them and earrings and a bracelet
i’ll probably coat them in clear nail polish but i’ve always found that too tacky so maybe i’ll try resin? and i might put cheap sheet metal backings on each individual one so they rest nicer on the skin

no one likes them, and they’re annoying
i’ll kill a bunch, trap them probably and then freeze them to kill them
i’ll turn them into art, their only purpose
i might purposefully grow some maggots later soon but that’s just bc it’s fun
the flies i think there’s something so lovely about turning something so ugly and hopeless into something pretty, or just keeping it as it’s ugly self but being unnerving for others to see
i want people to see my fly bracelets and go “holy crap” and remember the bracelets whenever they see a fly

I guess that's unique. How do you plan to attach them all to something like a bracelet or necklace? Would you just use some sort of adhesive like glue to attach them to a string?

heheheeeee i’m glad u asked ive been waiting for this question - ive got a design for a bracelet planned
my main design idea would be a flat silver bangle , like a solid bracelet and i glue each fly to the outer bit, so it’s like silver and black
i want it to be something that’s in your face kind of ugly like a statement piece so im not gonna add gems to take attention away, the flies r the centre
im going to just use silver to bring out the colour of the flies, they have a pretty black with a greenish blue hue which i adore
for the necklace id want something that has a backing on it so it doesn’t scratch on my skin , so i might make it a choker but thats kind of ugly
i would try sewing through the flies, though because ive done that with bees before
however its kind of icky to stick needles through them bc the crunch makes me feel like im hurting it even tho its dead yk? i dont wanna desecrate its body
earrings id attach them to hook earrings , just one singular chain of them dangling down
wait i’ll draw some concepts
 
oh guys btw banned myself from blogposting until now but anyway
yesterday
i came into school round like 9, and i found a big big bee who was rly tired so i picked him up and went into school and put him on my textbook
some group of guys asks me why i look like a criminal and i said here look at my bee
anyway i bring him into the heads office and ask for paper and tape so i can make him a little house
i make house
then i go for my history revision session bc i had an exam and some guy tries to kill him? same guy then tries to grab it and throw the house down the stairs and then he JUMPS on it
and then its with me and im sitting on a table infront of some guys who know me but i hate them and THIS NIGGA OMG HE TRIES TO SIT ON IT SND HE ENDE UP SITTING ON ME
i almost cried so yucky
i hate boys
i was so mad at him im not talking to him ever again who tf kills bees like i actually tweaked out
so i kept him in the heads office during our exam and then AFTER our exam he comes again to find the bee
he can’t find it bc it’s protected
he FINALLY leaves me alone an hour later
and i can finally get the bee and go home

then got home did some chem work and it was like learning maths with my dad again i swear i didn’t know 1+ 1 irts awful
anyway chem final in 30 mins.
i need divine intervention
but the bee is still there!!! at home
i have that to look forward to unless my mum throws it away like all my other bugs
will post bug house when i get home
little brother is sick so have to rush after exam bc he’s alone :c
