I don't think I've ever grieved I just kinda accept it for what it is and move on.
BTW terrycrews are you arkaim?

There's no other way to handle grief than to simply just handle it and go through it. I'm not sure how accurate the 5 stages of grief are for everyone but in my experience, I've definitely gone through it when losing my best friends, eventually I reached acceptance and all was well. Try not to ignore your issues, though. You need to face them. There's no easy fix to grief, it just goes away after some time. Could take a year or 2, maybe even more.

How do you guys handle loss
I draw shit and listen to old music I haven't listened to in a while, that way I don't end up associating it with the grief later down the line.

I have a song that I can't listen to now because it makes me too sad and angry

I lost a dog one and a half years ago and honestly the sadness dissipated within one day. Obviously I don't know how I would handle a close family member dying though.

When my friend got murdered it really messed me up, but I just accepted that things like that happen and moved on. Six year later I still think about her once a day, so if it was something or someone you really liked it's probably going to stick around in your mind for the rest of your life.

Oh well, people/pets die, it sucks. Just don't think about it no matter how bad it was. Focus on (You) and your future.

I'd kill myself if my dog died
