And to that, I mostly agree, but when a community is mostly hostile to you anyways, why should you put so much passion into something you're not passionate about, what, in hopes that they might like you again or something? In hopes that they might care about you for 5 seconds? Face it, what do we have to our names, Spas? An ongezellig game and an unfinished FPE project. It's about time we start looking inwards into our creative selves and making things that we can be proud with sharing to the entire world. Though, I'm sure you're fine with whatever games you've made, but as for me, I want to make things that are personal to me and what I want to see in games, not purely for the mild pleasure and glimpse of others, who will discard it so quickly.

It'd be cool even to have like a soyjak mmo or a fighting game, but most of the soyjaks don't exactly represent the bestest of people. If you were to ask me which soyjak represents me the most I would say none of them because they're all hostile and mean creatures, and that is not who I am, that is not what anyone should aspire to be.

To put this simply, this site is a shitposting website, according to DOLL that is.
So why should anyone put a huge amount of effort into a shitpost? People here have their own lives and passions and hobbies that I feel like they deserve to be expressed, so yeah, the most replied to project might be shit you probably don't care about, but let it be known that it is not a bad thing in any way shape or form. The real soyjak culture IS THE FRIENDS WE MADE ALONG THE WAY.

I didn't join to jak, I joined because I just wanted a better place to socialize with a better atmosphere and people with actual morals against a world full of insufferable intolerant leftoids who'll ban you if you do so as much as disagree with their opinion. Sure I get a lot of discontempt here but atleast I'm actually allowed to be here, unlike Discord that 'nishes me upon mere mention of me disagreeing with people being a tranny.

You're sort of talking past me, I don't take an issue with your line of thought, that's partly why I'm abandoning this project. I said it in the OP: I don't want to work on something motivated by past ambitions, in honor of a place that no longer feels like home
