i see, thank you all for telling me
i dont even try to think about politics anymore, all that shit does is make me feel like shit
seems a lot of people are like that, regardless of their views
i think 9/11 and the GWOT was the turning point, though there was some shit in the 90s like that serbian plane incident too

In terms of loud, quick debating like this, no, not always, but you can still see the faults of either candidate and of democracy in just viewing how the system works from any debate you watch. The first televised debate, in 1960, between Nixon and Kennedy, was a whole different schtick entirely, lots of slow talk and good manners, I must admit, in spite of my opposition to either, really, albeit Nixon was pretty decent for some moments of his presidencies.

Man after watching just a little bit of this i realize how much rhedorict is clogging up the debates

im skimming through it right now and i can immediately notice the lack of tension in the air
it feels like both of them are on the side of the United States, there's no sense of division like the two-sided country there is now
